Looks like an S series, but the 21st fret markings REALLY looks like a Satch.

Some digging, and I pulled out this:

Congrats on your purchase man!

Wow..... a very rare Joe Satriani guitar with P-90s!

Hahahaha....... I grew to love non-flashy guitars with beautiful flame bodies too. Drooling for days over a PRS Single Cut in Guitar Center in Chicago. Even the Les Paul isn't exactly "flashy" compared to say a Razorback, and I love Les Pauls to death......

And if a Satch model can produce that amazing Bluesy sound....... awesome mate! Can't wait to hear it in action! Congrats again!

Hmmmmmmm....... Maybe a BFG Les Paul is in my future....... if it's the P-90 Route, and then whack out the Zebra Burstbucker and whack in an EMG 81TW or perhaps try out S.D. P-Rails or Blackouts........

DAMN. I think I found my next guitar choice tongue.gif

Anyone else getting new guitars soon? Since Pix got his new Satch, my new Razorback, Ever's supposed new Sex Goddess, and duckie's never ending search for the perfect guitar tongue.gif

Razorback 255 Dimeslime. It's coming in only in a month's time. Just paid the booking fee yesterday.

Lucky you Pix! My guitar is slowly floating here on a big giant boat sad.gif

Now I'm GASING for a P-90 Guitar........ And I know what you mean about not spectacular. The 60s neck second hand LP Standard that I tried out at Guitar Center that I was contemplating buying...... didn't feel THAT spectacular...... most probably why it wound up being a second hand guitar.

Oh yeah..... now I remember that you're in France. Anyway, will be heading there in September so might see you there too!

Long story..... the less we talk about it the better.

And yeah, was in Disneyland Paris, Paris (I was in love with the Lourve), Honfleur, Lissieux and Vessiles. god D**N I was impressed by Vessiles. Now want to learn more about Louis the 14th and Marie Antoinette.

But on the new guitar note, I think I can't sit on my lazy behind once I'm back, because as soon as I touch home, most likely will drive up to Kota Kemuning to collect my Razorback! can't wait anymore!!!!!

Yeah, my french is horrible....... even my Merci Beaucoup sounds chinaman.... tongue.gif
Luckily almost everyone in Disneyland speaks English!
But my god, can the french smoke. First time I've seen so many cigarette butts inside Disneyland....... on the plus side, I can enjoy wine with my Lunch there! tongue.gif

And I'm looking for a decent power attenuator as well. Need to crank up my 60watter a little more.

Ahhhh... sorry sorry. Too much cheap wine here (1.50 Euro for a bloddy good bottle of wine. Envying Pix right now!).....

But yeah, I'm still on the hunt for the now discontinued 24 fret Double Cutaway Gibson Les Paul. That's a totally sweet guitar for my collection.

Nope.

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product...itar?sku=517344

Comes with 490R Alnico magnet neck humbucker and 498T Alnico magnet bridge humbucker. that's one of my holy grails of Guitar.

Always wanted a 24 fret Gibson that's NOT an SG....

I'll reserve my SG GAS for an SG with P-90 pickups tongue.gif

True..... but to me, the SG is always "Satan's Guitar" with the devil horns tongue.gif
