ur rite pal, i remember in my childhood playing PS1, my mom always said it will spoilt the tv (actually the tv itself old already, its 15"). but now i think, when we are grew up, maybe they dont want we too "syok" when playing game and forgot to eat, bath, study etc..But my parents always blame on the game, whenever the TV is spoilt and I have played games with it, they sure blame it is the game's fault.
