I know a whole bunch of you are anti-establishment, and i don't blame you for posting the way you did. But, have you heard of the phrase "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't"?
The mod team makes unpopular decisions every day. The fact that it is unpopular, doesn't mean that it is wrong. There are proper channels for trading, and it's explicitly stated in our R&R to which should be well known to a member as old as stringfellow.
Anyway, a perfectly acceptable resolution was taken in this case, which was to move the topic to bulk orders. With a courtesy redirection note even. If that stringfellow guy is unhappy with that and closes his bulk, that's his call, not ours.
The decision will stay. You might not think it's a big deal to allow one topic here, but the moment we set the precedent, others will follow. Bet you didn't see that. The favorite justification used is "But i saw the other guy do it too, why didn't you stop him?!". Heh.
If you have further comments, open a topic in the forum feedback section.
Perhaps if I totally withdraw the RM100 for the fee of getting those iPhones, then whoever's behind all this jealousy and mayhem could not draw any ammo and not draw the conclusion of a "sales thread" and/or such.
My faith is shaken, but I draw my hopes and renewed faith from those who understood me. You mods may have a regimented rules and guidelines to follow (the very reason why I declined a mod post years back, because I'd rather act base on what I feel is right, not what others have deemed as right, that is borderline Communist), but you are acting based on hard and fast rule that have grown irrelevant to the issue at hand.
Definition: Seller. Someone who sells an item, and gains profit margin out of the item he sells. A seller is also obligated to provide after sales support to the items he is selling, as the result of the profit he took out on his purchasers.
Me? I do not sell, I do not provide any aftersales support, my mistake that I saw here that enables "jealous sellers" to report the Tumpang is that I illicit RM100 for the purchasing fee. If I withdraw that RM100 fee, then there's not a single reason to call this a sale, or even a bulk, now is it?
And THIS is the reason why I dont post in BULK, see what kinds of responses you get from those people who frequents the BULK section
This link ==>http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/750170/+0entry18779446I made very unpopular posts and statements EVERY TIME I post, because I find posts posted in this forum revolves around the mundane, the baseless and the useless. Malaysians rather save face, than tell it outright, because it is our custom to be polite and not to shame the other person. I am not that person, and please dont talk to me about unpopular decisions or posts here, I LIVE that life around here, if you care to look around my post history.
Lastly, to the
Unlucky 15, you got PM, I'm providing an alternative solution for you. I'd like to ask those who I have PMed to keep this "solution" to themselves, and I'll be using this "solution" the next time a Tumpang opportunity arises. Don't want this kind of mess to come up again, and the mods to be put into place exercising their discretion, or lack thereof.
I've looked into the PMs and IMs I've received, and I realized one thing:
It is easy to give in to the pressure, but it takes a bigger person to persevere. And I'm choosing to do the latter. Those "jealous bastards" can kiss my arse for all I care, but the Apple Byte community is based on communionship and the spirit of helping each other, and I am just fulfilling my civic duties. No mods, or black-hearted mongrels can stop me from doing that.
This is MY thread, and I'll close it when I'm done with. And now, I'm done.
Peace, out.
