QUOTE(smarty pants @ Dec 21 2015, 08:18 PM) Whatlah this kylo? So lauyah one? Can be beaten by a girl. Really does not do the dark force justice. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « You're aware that he lacks training and he's obviously rusty. Rusty in a sense that there's not much chance for him to use the lightsaber. The last time he was in a lightsaber battle was when he destroys Luke's training camp. After that, he's the ONLY force user out there until he met Rey.
This is easily explained by his expression when he tried to read Rey's mind but was countered. This is why his mask was off. To show fear, insecurity and sense of surprise.
Snoke obviously do not VALUE Ren as he obviously knew that deep down inside, Kylo still has some light in him. He's still unstable. Hence, he was just using him to lure/track down Luke. Snoke didn't even bother training Kylo. Did you not notice Snoke's reaction when Kylo mentioned Rey's power? Snoke values Rey way more than Kylo.
A lot of people mentioned about Kylo's noob face. He SUPPOSED to be like that in the beginning. A very young guy with insecurities, constantly doubting his own judgement. He idolizes Vader and treated the helmet as some kinda sacred relic to gain imaginary power to the dark side.
JJ wanted to introduce a villain with a GOOD backstory and show people how a sith was created. Kylo sealed the deal when he killed Solo. That's when Snoke decided he's worth his time. This post has been edited by GameFr3ak: Dec 21 2015, 11:45 PM

QUOTE(Frostlord @ Dec 21 2015, 06:49 PM) i'm one of the only few who doesnt think the prequel is bad, and machete order is rubbish watch 4,5,6 then watch 1,2,3 that way you can enjoy 1,2,3 more. 1,2,3 is not about Vader or the jedis. Its about how Sidious manipulate everything to become what he is in epi 5 hint : Sidious is only a senator in epi1 i dont give credits to carbon copy of movies. epi7 is very similar to epi4,5. thats lazy writing. not to mention how convenient it is for Han to "recover" his mf, for Rey to "recover" the saber and its very obvious epi7 is a movies made for toys. Phasma? serve no purpose other than to disable the shield. Flametrooper? screentime 1min. Melee FO trooper? Screentime <5min. FO Snowtrooper? screentime <1min » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « MF is a VERY VERY old ship. It's used by the famous scoundrel smuggler, Han Solo. Ya think he and a shit load of other people won't be constantly tracking it? lol This post has been edited by GameFr3ak: Dec 21 2015, 11:46 PM

I've just finished reading a very probable theory of Rey's origin. Rey is a Kenobi.

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Dec 22 2015, 06:23 AM) grand daughter maybe..cuz the timeline do not fit in with the movie.. QUOTE(koolspyda @ Dec 22 2015, 06:56 AM) Yup, agree. Ben (obi wan) kenobi was a old hermit, a recluse figure at tatooine about 40+- years before TFA. So what, lets deduct n see some ideas even if seemed silly.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Him fathering Rey? Hmm no..
Maybe he kept his semen n someone used it to produce a child..err this is Star Wars, not human science project 😮
Maybe Ben had a twin bro kenobi himself.. 😪
Obi wan didn't die, he was, became one with the force... Fathered a child, like anakin before, as did midichlorians fathered amakin, immaculate conception...(horror) to That I say zzzzzz, acceptable for anakin's story but rehash for Rey, not.
I'm still buying the idea, it's pretty much keeping in line with the EU canon even if the choose to not follow directly but in parts, respectful of it, just not blatant following it.
Means Star Wars is a skywalker story.
Ben 'Kylo Ren' Solo (son of Han Solo and Leia (skywalker) organa and probable daughter or very very much related to Luke skywalker
In Star Wars EU, han & leia had twins. (Perhaps as Kylo & Rey) Now, it's still a possibly but my money won't be on that (yet). It's a shocker if revealed as they are, while there is no indication in TFA, they may keep it as a surprise reveal in next installment.
With the internet these days, every remote angle is discussed, so the impact reveal or any surprise reveal may not reach the level of TESB's "I am your father"
But im cool with that. As I'm cool with TFA. I understand social media looms over every detail and some spoilers (unlike the past, pre social media). I can't understand the meltdown of some fans of SW about TFA though.
Granddaughter to be specific. From reddit. After seeing this a 3rd time, i'm convinced that Rey is not the daughter of Luke or Han/Leia. In her conversation with Maz after her forceback, Maz says that the ones she is waiting for are not coming back. She then says, "but there is one who will". Immediately Rey says, "Luke.". The first time I saw this I thought she was asking "Who?". Yet, she clearly says "Luke." when I watched this the 2nd and 3rd time.
We know that Rey was waiting for her family to come back for her. So when Maz says that the ones she is waiting for are not coming back, this must mean that her family are not coming back for her. This obviously means that Han/Leia and Luke are not her family.
Yet, why would Luke care for her or come back for her if he's not family? Yes she's strong with the force and needs proper training, but I think it's much more than that. Here's my theory, hear me out. Others here are starting to have the same idea. Rey is the granddaughter of one Obi-Wan Kenobi.Full list of reasons here
