Want to ask something abot CF.

I think about going CF with my current Palit HD2600pro 256 DDR3 .. Is it worth it?

or can I just CF this card with any HD2600xt 256 ddr3? Is it possible?

nope. can be different card. CF is not as picky as nV's SLI.

IMO it's not worth to CF 2600..

ok found it. not much details la.

can give you 3dmark06 scores (it nearly doubled) but it's pointless cos it doesn't say anything about gaming.

CF is also limited, some games like Frontlines : FOW doesn't support CF.

bro,can try find some second hand 3850 or 3870,sure better than u buy a new 2600 to cf.

If you consider selling you GC . That will be HD38XX CF

single hd38xx GC card is better than 2 2600xt CF, dont go for it better..

if we running two different card,there must be a master and a slave,so the primary card has to be the faster one or the slower one?

example liek 2600XT and 2600pro,the XT on pri or the pro on pri?

The HD 3870 Oced edition RM 480 only.Grab it before it phases out?

i dont think it matters though, since the faster card sure will follow the slower card's speed
unless PCI-E bandwidth difference...

For example AX78

1st PCIE X16 and the second one is X4 (bandwidth)

yeah i knwo that it has no master card,
but how's the clock speed of both card if like that,

that's mean the slower card has to overclock itself to catch up the faster one or the faster one has to downclock to catch up the slow one?

Should be the 2nd. Faster one will synchronize w the slow one.
