iPhone Mahasifus....

Would like to post this problem out after continuous research on the problem has been made along with the much appreciated help from a fellow forummer davidgary73

I've installed SwirlyMMS 1.1.0 (ehem version & also trial versions) a couple of days back and was not able to send out any MMS at all..... I've tried these settings below:

DiGi
APN: digimms
APN name: mms
APN password: mms
WAP gateway: 203.92.128.160 or 203.092.128.160
MMSC: http://mms.digi.com.my/servlets/mms

With and without the http:// in front of the MMSC field. Tried these settings below as well:

Mmsc: mms.digi.com.my/servlets/mms
Proxy: 203.92.128.160
Apn: digimms
User: DIGI
Password: mms

With and without http:// on the mmsc field as well.

There this other symptom which is also noticed where on the top right corner of the screen, next to the battery icon, the "M" logo does not have a green background to it. It used to have the icon active on the earlier version of swirly. The error message received is "MMS cannot be sent right now since GPRS/EDGE is not available! Pls review ur MMS and/or EDGE AON settings or wait a while if settings are correct..."

Hope all the Mahasifus here are able to help/suggest any other solution to this problem.

if u turn off edge, turn it on. i've mistakenly turn off edge and i cant send mms.try this method first.

Sorry I did not mention it earlier, Edge is turned on from BossPrefs and turned it off and on again..... still no difference.....

At first mine cant work either then i reinstalled the app. Using these settings below, i tested receiving and sending mms and it works perfectly.

APN: digimms
APN name: mms
APN password: mms
WAP gateway: 203.92.128.160
MMSC: http://mms.digi.com.my/servlets/mms

Yo shadowcaster, what version of ur swirly may we know? im having the same symptom with TS but as i dont realy mms'ing, so i dont bother... but its great to have a basic phone feature nowdays in a such so called "god's owned one too".... (No offend to god)

i assume u set already EDGE APN in Setting>General>Network?

i have hard time setting GPRS since i was using O2XDA IIs... i never bother using Digi for GPRS..

Already did.... dunno bout TS... im having rough time setting up mms on XDA Flame b4 s well... but i only on celcom 3G data plan that time....

try to uninstall and install again. this sometimes clear things up...if everything fails...RESTORE..muahaha

weird, after reading this thread i notice that mine also cant sent mms after my swirlymms upgraded to version 1.1.0 and i dint change any setting. before this it work normally...

just sent MMS to my friend... works fine... no prob at all, my fwen got it...

im using SwirlyMMS v1.1.1

make sure your EDGE is ON... then the M icon will turn into Green...

if EDGE is OFF, M icon in Grey color... This is my setting:

tried ur settings on the 1.1.0 version and it still does not work. I've searched the Installer and could not find the version you are talking about 1.1.1 mind sharing where you find that version korn?

downloaded the 1.1.1 version and it is working fine now.....thanks alot Korn.....appreciate it............

can this software or any other software receive MMS on iphone ?

Yes..this software receives and sends MMS but only for FW 1.1.4. FW 2.0.1 users have to wait for the software to be available.
