Thank you very much. i am not supplier actually.
Places like California Pizza, and Shanghai 10 is more like frends and family gathering wor..

I wont bring my clients to Madam Kwan, and Chilli's.. cuz it's a common place they normally go actually.
Rakuzen's food was alrite ..  in fact, i think most of the jap restaurant is quite the same.. and always full of ppl..

Ah Yat abalone.. haha.. i tried already.. but i am not the abalone person.. lol.. i mean, of course my client comes first..

Actually, i want to find a restaurant that is more upper scale a little... outstanding service and good food.
Most of my clients wont have much to say about suggesting this or that restaurant type, of course i did ask them but i always prepare a list of good restaurant to suggest...  most of the time, they "pai seh".. i think.. haha..  and we also always bombard them with gifts..

not here to get into western vs asian cuisine $$$$.

an article for reading pleasure.

QUOTE
For sushi, which is expensive to preserve and prepare, that makes sense. So what explains the price tag at Aragawa, which just serves steak?

"I've seen Wagyu beef for sale at underground grocery stores in Japan," Davis says. "It's $200 a pound. If you're feeding your cows sake and massaging them all day that's what you get."

Of course, you can fork over major dough for your bread in many other countries as well. In China, people pay thousands of dollars for shark fin, abalone and bear paw. And at the three-Michelin-starred Gordon Ramsay in London, Zagat surveyors estimated the cost of dinner and an alcoholic beverage for one, plus tip, at close to $200. But unlike in Asia, European restaurants place more emphasis on the trappings of fine dining, and Gordon Ramsay is no exception. Bouquets of fresh flowers adorn the 13-table dining room, and the menu includes rarefied dishes like pigeon and Cornish lamb. Interested? Hey guys, hope u guys can help me out here. i'm taking my gf out for her birthday next month, and it's going to be just the two of us. any suggestions on where we could have a fine dinner/lunch at 1utama, the curve or sunway? cos i think she would like to watch a movie or shop around after dinner/lunch. so i prefer eating in the mall. i was thinking of Chili's, but she went there a few times already and i'm afraid she might be bored with that place. my budget is about rm150 for 2 person... i know it's not too much... but i need to save up for her birthday present as well.. sad.gif
thanks for ur suggestions guys! notworthy.gif

see, the problem is the definition of EXPENSIVE.

to some TGIF / Chilis style is considered FINE dining already. biggrin.gif cos it certainly is more expensive than hawker / restaurant.
