chinese fine dining suck.. whats so nice about lobster and abalone...shark fin etc? all these prices are based on market price..not tasty at all. Just because its rare and difficult to obtain doesnt mean its good stuff.

Angmoh food good stuff coz chef's skills are tested to the limit

your statement befits the pricing of truffles which is rare and hard to find as well. so contradictory.

fortunately, the best restaurants in the world, mainly consists of asians. japanese being on top.
the day some angmoh tops asian food, then only you start telling us how their skills are honed to the limit ok ?

How about the price range?

for normal days bearable. for special occasions its ridiculous.

Have you tried? Mind to leave some review here?

cava is a nice cozy place along jalan bangkung.
however, though the food is different, i still stick by the principles that the original flagship store is definitely the best. that would be opus.

opus has been around for quite a long time, i remember it was 2000 that i first went to opus. back then, they served great wine, great cuisine, the peace and quite and cozyness was simply awesome. the waiters do exactly as they are supposed to do, which is to wait on you instead of haunting you. though they branched out to cava which is just a few doors away, i still rather be at opus because of its originality.

pricing wise, opus is very steep compared to cava.
