Is it just me or do I find the intentional broken english here incredibly annoying? Wanna talk like that, isn't the Kopitiam thread the place to do it? Google "fine dining in Malaysia" and one of the few top sites might be this thread and you guys are talking like that.

fortunately, the best restaurants in the world, mainly consists of asians. japanese being on top.
the day some angmoh tops asian food, then only you start telling us how their skills are honed to the limit ok ?

What the hell are you talking about? It might not be the perfect list but where is Asian food in the top 10 here?

Wow, just because you have a so-called "food blog" and a resident of this thread makes you the Mr.Know-It-All when it comes to food that you can start criticizing people's taste and exhibit the holier than thou attitude. Seriously.

Looks like a person with a standard like yours don't get my point so I'm just gonna be nice with you one more time.

Taste is subjective, how can you disregard someone's recommendation or opinion by saying him/her has no taste or by saying some is poor/no taste? Just because you like chinese food more doesn't mean someone who likes western food has a more inferior food taste. From what we gather from YOUR posts, this is what that has been implied. If you put your words in PROPER english and stop typing low standard comments, people will take your comments seriously but please stop making a fool of yourself and this thread by commenting with a little more class.

My english is no good sad.gif ok lah i use spell check next time before i post

I'm most disappointed in you vkeong. You have one of the top food blogs in Malaysia and you are acting and talking like this in a fine dining thread. I don't see you typing like that in your blog. Affects the credibility of the writer isn't it?

QUOTE(happy4ever @ Dec 19 2009, 08:23 AM)
whoa, so i am fool. so u are no fool. So all chinese food fine dining sux, angmohs wan are better, ok? thumbup.gif
So you speak nice english = got class?  laugh.gif

Someone above u say taste is subjective. So means your lack of liking for chinese is your own problem.
Right now, i try finding chinese fine dining in PJ area. Hilton got one, later i go try.

Ya, and angmoh food in other countries are better tasting than in malingsia too. So you go overseas makan, I also go overseas makan.
Next week I go look for Thai Fine Dining. With all the spices and herbs, sure beats all the lausai angmoh food, cause they all sucks.

If it gets the point across, why the prejudice and discrimination?

Did i ever say that western food beats chinese food? Only you're the one in this thread that keep insisting that chinese food wins because the use of the chopstick and "angmoh" food sucks without even properly justifying why (use fork and knife is rude, please!). And you self-proclaim yourself as a food critic. What a joke. And I don't think that you'll ever understand my point so I'll rest my case here.

Sorry mods for going off-topic but if you guys are gonna let this Kopitiam posters own this thread like a marketplace, then might as well rename this thread.

Can try Cavalini's in Palace of Golden Horses too. Not sure if it's still there but when I went there many many years ago, it was excellent. Very pricey too.
