hi im new.i bought my xbox 360 but i dont know wether it is asian or US version or any other version there is.cn sum1 tel me hw to knw?is it on the box.and also when u buy ori 360 game can u also see what region it can run on the 360?ty

hmm where do u bought it and the box shd got label as well....

for games:

NTSC J = Asia/Japan
NTSC N/C = American/Canada
Pal = Europe


and some are region free

if u wanna to know what version xbox360 u got...just take a look at the box itself...at the back of the box ; upper side on the right if im not mistaken ; it will mention the version of ur 360 ; if ntsc/j - asia version or japanese , ntsc u/c - us version and pal - europe version... ; or u can check at the TAG label on the box itself....it will mention for what market , example : asia - for singapore / hk , japan - for japan etc.

there is label on the cover for each games ( ntsc - pal - ntsc/j )

for US version of games - ntsc
for EUROPE - pal
for ASIA - ntsc/j

region free games : the games can be play at any region xbox360 console...depends on some publisher , this REGION FREE GAMES sometimes can be ntsc , pal or ntsc/j itself....u can refer to playasia.com under xbox360 section.
