Hey guys,
If you have upgraded to iphone 2.0, you probably are already excited about the things you are going to get from the upgrade. What I am talking about now, is the appstore.
Sure, there are plenty of nice free stuff in the appstore, but all the popular titles that people have been bragging about in their iphones are probably paid apps. (super monkey ball, ctr, bomberman).
I already have a US itunes account, however I am unable to purchase anything from the store, they wont accept non US credit cards, non US paypal accounts. So what's left for us Malaysians?
If anyone have successfully found a possible way to purchase US itunes store items, please do let us know!

wahkiz do a search on the forums, you'll find some people selling US iTunes gift certs which you can use to top up your account and buy stuff.

try change your itunes account country to Malaysia. ANd then put in your credit card details to buy apps.

I think gift cards would be the most cost efficient. With credit cards, don't forget the surcharges imposed as "handling fees". You could always get a contact in the States to buy the Gift Cards and send you the digits, while you can pay him/her in Paypal funds

I'm thinking either:
1. Purchasing using Gift Card credits in US iTunes Store or 2. Purchasing using Visa debit card in Malaysian iTunes Store
But apparently Malaysian iTunes Store has got less content. Of course you don't get music and movies, but apparently even the AppStore content is different. So it is your call.
