Running Maxis without any hiccups here. smile.gif Perhaps it's after your EDGE settings? I'm not running any data plans aside from WiFi here, so I'll do some Googling to see whether anything comes up on this problem.

I read some similar articles on some other forums like Hackint0sh. This issue somehow relates to individual carrier and your EDGE APN settings. So far, most of them who've had this problem have successfully solved it by a mere restore. Do you guys receive a message in iTunes to update your settings when you dock your phone? Not sure whether that'll apply to DiGi though. Are the 3 of you all on DiGi?

well it happens to me as well, but once update, then it is gone, and it is still unlocked for my vodafone NZ set.

Yeah, don't worry about the iTunes update reverting your "carrier lock", or in other words killing the unlock. So far no one I've read of has had their phones relocked from the update.

Ermm, it's not resetting your network settings, mate. You have to either perform a restore, or check whether iTunes asks you to download and install a "Carrier Settings" update file when you dock your iPhone. If you do get the message, just do as it says and you shouldn't see any more of the messages. However, I must say that it isn't normal to see this message. If you DO have any EDGE settings to input, you might wanna consider doing that and hard rebooting your phone.
