is there any place to buy ps3 slim 3006b MY set other than sony center? coz as far as i searched everywhere's selling sg set. and i dont wanna go to sony coz i scare their price will be much more expensive so any suggestion?

hello i dont know if im in the wrong thread so, sorry. just wondering does sony have warranty for their ds3 controllers? and how much are they selling in the retail store currently? because i heard from gamer's hideout there's not warranty offered, and GH is selling for rm175(member's price) .

sony management just called me they told me warranty for controllers bought separately with the console is only 3months sucks. service drop.

0322950600 this number, they called me cause previously I sent an inquiry email to them. If they gonna go without warranty for rm189 then I rather buy frm qisahn.com which is selling rm135 no warranty as well. I'll still goo check by this thursday any way and keep things posted up.

just bought scarlet red ps3 yesterday frm curve sony style , really nice and shiny. i heard the coloured ps3 is a limited production and they might stop the production for 160gb ps3 for sometime.

Price definitely lower than MY set but when claim warranty you gotta send it back to SG

Woah bro what happened to ur ps3 til got YLOD/GLOD? Is it version 3006? Or older ones? Its been half a year with my ps3 and I'm still pretty paranoid abt it

When buying I suppose it is advisable to purchase the latest model with latest firmware. If not mistaken is 3006cech now but please be warned that this version cannot be mod. And also, is best to purchase an MY set even tho SG set can be cheaper but in terms of convinience and time taken for service and maybe the price for service also, MY set in my opinion is cheaper overall, unless u don't mind those that I mentioned. And do purchase the ps3 from a store which warranty is tied with sony style, to be safe again. As far as I know of the safe ones will be all Gamer's Hideout outlets(Tropicana City Mall, One Utama, e@curve), or direct from Sony Style at the curve and there are still a few of their outlets around. Sony Style is different frm Sony Centre. Games nowadays are mostly online multi, but if u have siblings they do have a handful of split screen games, do some research bout the games u want before consider buying another controller.
