guys so want to ask, will the ps3 be a good buy since now a price drop is imminent? or are we expecting a new version of ps?

erm sorry if im asking the wrong question, tried googling but the difference is the 2506 and all that is the different hdd, ports and stuff like tat but is that the only difference?

I was thinking rite of the shops are selling sg sets does t mean that if we go sg to buy it would be cheaper? I travel sg quite frequently if buy ps3 from sg is it from Sony sg?
