When Sony introduce the new price in the US, that was when they released the CECH-3001A and B models.

I agree with tanseehua. A few hundred difference will give you peace of mind. You won't regret it.

I think the obvious difference between 2506 and 3006 is the minor cosmetic changes. Other than that is the lower (but not much) power consumption.

Wah, they have stock. Maybe they purposely claimed limited stock so that ppl who wants a ps3 panic and quickly grab one before 2506 stock runs out.

SIRIM should get 1 unit from Sony and test for YLOD before releasing PS3s for sale. That's what we need.

The Uncharted 3 Entry pack is the first bundle which comes with a faceplate. Kinda interesting... Retails for RM1199 but as usual, Sony Malaysia will be marking that figure up a little.

Previous PS3 model is 2506. Current latest model is 3006. The A or B at the end corresponds to 160GB and 320GB respectively.

So latest PS3 320GB in Sony stores should be 3006B.

Yes. Cosmetic and internal parts. Some say it looks uglier than previous version but that's subjective. Up to you to decide. To me, as long as I can play games on it, all is good.

Did they provide pricing on the bundle? I was informed the pricing for FIFA 12 bundle is RM1288. Am thinking about the same range for U3 bundle too.
