Im planning to buy from one of the lowyat shop. They offer for RM900 for the 160GB and RM950 for the 320Gb. Any advice on the or any experience buying at lowyat? Any problem after bought? Thanx!

Asker about the new model also, they said new model comes with less power consumption, less heat, new fan that more reliable. So, will wait for it! Hehe

I was too. But not The Curve, but TS Sony. They reserved for me already. Its CECH-3000. But at the moment they have only 320GB version. 160GB still dont have any news yet according to them. I'm going to take it tomorrow early in the morning.

I successfully bought CECH-3006b 320gb at Times Square Sony Style. They only received 10set at the moment. Got 1 GT5 set. 160gb or next coming stock still no ETA.

Now, who got any fifa 2011 or PES 2011 to let go? Haha, no games at the moment.

Yup, true. PS3 price considered very cheap already nowadays. Compare to the phat version last time, much cheaper, slimmer, less power consume n much more. From my point of view, RM900 SG set vs RM1099 MY set is not much. For a premium of RM200, u have ur mind at east in term of waranty. U never know what might happen in the future that might cost u. Some problems already identified such as YLOD, overheat n such. Some of the shop might not send the waranty to SG bcz of costly. They might repair themselves. Some honest seller will. If u trust them enough, n like one of the forumer here told, if u still young n most likely wont have heart problem, then take the SG set u know what i mean?

Added on October 12, 2011, 3:12 pmThen if u worrying about getting it modded, dont bother to buy the new 3006a/b slim as they tend to carry 3.72 fw n above. Modded by MY set, u should look for used set. If not just buy the new SG set 2506. Yesterday if im not mistaken, there was 1 guy selling MY set under waranty n modded. With 5-6 ahem games, RM900 nego. Go n search under Garage Sales

2 - Proceed to PC/Laptop, get online, head over to asia.playstation.com and login ur PSN ID, and once logged in, register ur hardware(ps3) there?
