Why on Earth is there a price difference... I heard coz Msia we hav 2 have a games bundle with it

Sony Style & Sony Centre selling around RM1899 + 2 games bundle with the set itself..

At GH, is ok if the price is a bit more higher. I mean, look at the place, its Damansara.

Sony Style is also ok. At least you know your support comes from there.

Local retailers are also ok. Some let you choose the game, while I think Sony Style might not be allowed (Though I have heard people said they were offered Little Big Planet and Fallout 3).

Hmm... where is the 'appropriate' Sony Style & Sony Centre ? There is one at The Curve as well...

if without the games, the Singapore one wouldn't give you any extra games, hence the cheaper price.

And about the games, best you clarify it further. Bcuz I saw the post about giving LBP or Fallout 3 in this thread also.

Malaysia set is for warranty, singapore set is for cheaper and free from bundled games. Don't think Sony has Lair though (I guess even they think it's horrible. )

Sony Style ( The Curve ) and Sony Centre ( Ikano nearby Cold Storage Supermarket & Speedy Video ) ; At ampang park Kuala Lumpur ive seen they sell just the PS3 set itself around rm1580 ( GOOD GAME SHOP )...

Wow... been to The Curve a dozen times, I believe I did see Sony Style... but they do actually have the stock there or must pre-order and wait for weeks/months ?

Also, help me to clarify these :

1. PS3 Singapore version - cheaper, but no games bundle
2. PS3 Singapore version - need to send to Singapore if want to claim warranty for anything
3. PS3 Msia version - more expensive coz of 2 games bundle
4. PS3 Msia version - cannot choose the 2 games, will be 'fixed' or 'given'
5. PS3 Msia vs. PS3 Singapore version - no difference 'inside' the box... e.g. The packaging, the manual, etc. etc. (I noe its not Msian made anyway...! )
6. PS3 Msia version - the right choice, coz any issues/repairs can send to Sony Centers...
7. PS3 Msia version - ... is the 80Gb model (Dual Shock 3 controller [vibration])
8. PS3 Msia version - please tell me what are included 'inside' the box package (got HDMI cables ? Ethernet ? etc. etc.)
9. PS3 Msia version - what is the 'average' price to expect of the model ? (e.g RM1,800 - RM1,990)
10. PS3 - where to get the games ? 'Gamers Hideout' ? Where you guys usually get the games ? Order online/retail shop ?

Greatly, grealy appreciated for those who can reply to my undying (noob-ish, and well, first time) PS3 questions...

i recently bought a MY set PS3 and i've registered the warranty online at www.sony.com.my.
but what about the warranty registration at www.playstation.com site?should i register there too? i tried few times already but can't submit because i cannot choose district.it doesn't give any choice to choose but still it is required to complete the registration.so how?

Malaysia PS3 are totally same as SG unit , MY 80GB and SG 80GB...Some sellers might claim SG 80GB as MY PS3 80GB..Sony Malaysia only accept MY PS3 80GB , SG 80GB sorry nope ( even though both of them share same code CECHK06 )...So carefull with that..
