Configuring proxy for your web browser :
Well this is more for Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools > Options and proceed to the Advanced tab. Then there should be a smaller tab on Network, go there and click on Settings. Select Manual Proxy Configuration, then enter the proxy IP and port for HTTP proxy and you're done.

Change it in your Internet settings, depending on your browser (Internet Options). For Firefox, it should be in Options > Advanced > Network Tab > Add manual proxy.
