TM is currently having network problems. It started on 12 Feb. They have not resolved it yet. There is no estimate of resolution time. Most likely network routing problems which affects local and international sites.

At this time, there is no announcement about the problem on the TM website. I have made TM aware of this. Whoever responsible to update announcements is not doing their job.

The customer service people can only tell you there is a problem. They do not have any other details to tel you because the network / broadband / engineers etc who are supposed to fix this problem has not updated the customer service people.

Just shows you how disorganized is TM company.

This is what i got from my contact:

It is JUCN submarine cable network which affected to 2x2.5G (Segment 7). Information was given by our International Submarine Cable Network Operation Center and the expected restoration time is 20th Feb 2009 (subject to weather condition).

If this is the reason...

1. I think that cable problem happened on 9 or 10 Feb. It was supposed to be fixed by 13th, then extended to 17th, and now it seems 20th.

2. TM customer service does not know about this?? They do not give info on this.

3. TM customer service supervisor did not mention this as the reason. Just that there are routing problem and they don't have any other info.

4. Almost a week this problem has happened and no announcement at all on TM website, let alone any updates.

ldragon, if you have a contact in TM, especially if its at management level, please do us all a favour and get your contact to improve customer service and announcing problems on their website.

TM seems to be having some sort of problem. They cannot give any reason, but just that there is slow browsing issue to certain websites. No idea how long before it is fixed.

Also there is some planned maintenance (which shouldn't there be notice given if it is planned??) in certain states. Call 100 to hear the announcements.
