Hello all...I have read many kinds of problem that Streamyx users face... Ok,if u faced the problem like, internet connection slow, can't open a website and etc.. u must do this.... RESTART YOUR ROUTER... Its actually change your ip address...Streamyx give their users (who take the package dynamic ip address) with many kind of ip address...in hundred of ip address, that only one that give u experience to surfing... Try to restart your modem until you can surfing very well..... I have done it,and my speed is very excellent... ATTENTION! WHEN YOU GET THE NICE IP ADDRESS,TRY TO DON'T TURN OFF YOUR MODEM AS LONG AS YOU CAN..!! good luck! from Amir in Seremban!

QUOTE(Instant_noodle @ Feb 21 2009, 06:28 PM) Dear Amir from Seremban, 1. have you ever sit in front of a pc, reset dns, reset modem for 4 fuxxing hours? 2. have you ever consider a modem that opens for 24/7 a kind of fire hazard, when people is not around? 3. have you ever consider that modem is not indestructible, and will break down after long use? I think you are posting from call center, after the phones rang for countless days... Maybe we talked few times, since i call and complain almost every fuxxing day before Chinese New Year. i have done my 'research' with my friends 2 years ago until i found this forum... so,i inform u all... Added on February 21, 2009, 6:46 pmQUOTE(lee82gx @ Feb 21 2009, 06:44 PM) can't believe someone would open a new user account to post this...either: 1. He can get reward 2. He feels this is like discovery of e = mc^2 LOLS.... I never take anything for this... I only just to share my solution with all users... QUOTE(lee82gx @ Feb 21 2009, 06:54 PM) bro, regardless of IP you get, it'll last about 3-4hrs before you get disconnected automatically. Besides, the 'quality' of the IP address is quite dynamic ie. today for my area certain IP is good, but tomorrow it can be bad. Its not exactly 'always-on-broadband' if you need to disconnect and reconnect is it? yeah...it will reconnect automatically but it still on that ip.... the nice ip address will be excellent for ever... its not depend on day... Added on February 21, 2009, 7:02 pmQUOTE(babycv @ Feb 21 2009, 06:57 PM) Guys, nvm d la aiyok! I don't restart my modem by off an on again, but I go to the modems page and disconnect and connect again. No need to stand up and go the modem and off and wait for 5 seconds and go on it back and go to my chair again. sometimes, it works. sometime, useless. For me, when i see my IP, i must see 2 digits on the first section of the ip, such as 60.xxx.xxx.xxx. If i see 3 digits (eg. 118.xxx.xxx.xxx) then i know it will be slow. So most of the time, i will restart the connection until i see 2 digits on the first section of ip. Don't know why, but it works. but today, both also very slow. slow until my internet explorer lag until hang. hahahhahahha....its actually depend where you live...like mine in Seremban, maybe the nice ip is 60.53.236.25 This post has been edited by amirudin920927: Feb 21 2009, 07:02 PM
