between sapphire HD4870 & MSi HD4870

which brand u guys prefer? nowaday i see MSi often to bring his high end future in m/board & g/card product..

now using sapphire HD3870.. im thinking of upgrading to HD4870

time to HD4870 to slash price again..

X2 or X3 still enough to support the card... X4 should be extreme good...
X2 or X3 should be bottleneck in benchmark only... in gaming.. if can get playable fps @ max setting should be ok then

the most important was the psu... i hope my gigabyte odin can support 4870...

my idle temp is 74 C... load 78 - 79.. haiyak.. lazy to tweak fan speed yet...

vantage score show that my cpu bottleneck a lot X2 5000+ BE @ 3ghz...

edited : already tweak after google.... 37% fan speed my idle temp around 48 C...

i wanna ask.. how to make ccc profile auto load every start up?

anyone experienced when playing crysis... the game will stop and quit to desktop... ?
error message is - your system is currently low on memory (not virtual memory)

this is only happen when i set the setting to all very high + AA 2x, when i off the AA, the game will run fine.. it was happen when AA is turn ON.
my crysis already updated to 1.21.

my system spec is..

AMD X2 5000+ BE
4GB crucial tracer
msi k9a2 platinum
HD4870 (8.7 cat)

512mb gDDR5 on gpu ram is not enough to on AA 2x ??

GRID no prob with 8xAA... so far i just wanna run benchmark to show to my friend how poor when performance set AA enable vs AA disable only

what reso ? 800x600 or 1024x768

i've try minimal all program include off the AV...
btw im using vista x64, crysis + 64bit fix

maybe my cpu? bottleneck ? not really related ... hurmmm

no.. manual only. running no problem with stock fan, idle 48, load 59 C

lorr.. mine also sapphire HD4870.. nothing crap about its cooler...
it was reference card.. not bad at all...

and then im already push the card @ 780/1050

im using xtremeG cat 8.7.(modded driver) no need to install hotfix.. most of the games seems to be ok to run smoothly.
