Hey i've just build a rig with sapphire 4870. Want to ask a question here.

I play crysis at high setting and it runs smoothly. But after play for a while, my pc hang . Need to restart. What's the cause? Is it because the card is too hot? It's 77'C when idle and 82'C when load, watch the temperature at CCC. Or is it because of the driver problem? Or because the game problem itself?

And is the temperature ok? I use gigabyte odin 800W.

from the review, it seems
1) No need to do CCC modification for fan speed.
2) Better temperature at idle and load (maybe the review place is northpole? )
3) Overall pwn 9800GX2 (Maybe due to lower res benchmark?)

Playing assassin creed and the max temp i got is 76C

Guys, need help here. My MSI4870 keep crashing during game test in Vantage. I'm running with 60percent fan speed now, but the video driver still keep crashing on me
Any idea what causing this or can you guys able to finish the benchy without problem?
Here is my spec.

MSI R4870-T2D512
4G DDR2 ram

I finally got myself a 4850 with Glaciator cooler (abandoned the Nvidia camp)

Odd though, mine is the 512mb version...I thought the Asus 4850 with Glaciator cooler only came in 1GB flavour

guys is it worth upgrading from a 8800gt to the 4850? i will have to top up around RM150.

crysis i played before , hmm if you mention 4xAA , I didnt try that but i finished game with high setting only.
