Archaven, the 4850X2 would be much better as the 965 doesn't have enough PCIe lanes to get nice performance from CF.

Oh, and BN (Barisan Nvidia) vs PKR (Pakatan Radeon)! laugh.gif

HD4850X2

2GB GDDR3, 625Mhz Core clock (should be OCed nicely), same other stuff.
USD400 (~RM1400), lower price than GTX280, higher performance!

Now I really feel bad for nVidia. Even their exotic top chip can't sell above USD400. Not to mention the guys who bought theirs at RM2000+ 2 months ago with the feeling that their card would be king of the hill for some time.

But it's not like a new chip came along. The RV770 chip in the 4850/70/X2 already existed for quite some time, and believe me, there were a TON of naysayers who believed GT200 would be great (including me, but I kinda felt that RV770 would be uber so there you go laugh.gif ).

This isn't technological progress making the prices drop. It's basically a well-placed headshot.

For ~RM300, the HD 4670 sure "Saiful"s the 9500GT, and then some.

2 4670s, at RM600, are a force to be reckoned with.
