about the temperature... anybody can review the temperature of 4850,4870 & 4870X2 in detail ? ( starting temp, 1hr and above temp of playing graphic hungry games, and oso the ambient temperature for the 2 cases...)  wink.gif

I can tell you that my 4850GS when the fan in the dynamic mode, the temp is no no! doh.gif I'm definately sure that even it is a customer cooler, the dynamic mode sucks. I think maybe it got to do with the BIOS not intellegent enough to rev up the fan to 55%-60% during full load or something.

I have to use gainward's tool to set the fan always running at 55%. Then the temp will be 55c idle. 70-75C full load. So, the fan will be always running at 55% even it is on idle @ 500mhz. I'm not sure about others that have use 3rd party cooler running on dynamic mode.

The fan on dynamic mode run at how many % speed? Your casing cooling okay or not because if too crowded or no exhaust fan can be really hot since the GS build up heat in the casing.
