Oh ya forgot to mention do not use with any rechargeable nimh 2500mAh or higher, it seems that Fenix E20 has compatability issue with this mAh power. If 2000mAh or lower it's no problem.
*
Owh.. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for telling notworthy.gif

btw, can the E20 be upgrade to use xenon?

Ermm...there is no official upgrade from Fenix. Unless you are able to DIY yourself but once you do any modification to the flashlight the warranty will be void. Or perhaps you can get Xenon flashlight from philightsophy, just do a search he is a LYN seller also.

TQ

Yes sure. I remember ur ID cause so special.  biggrin.gif

For Fenix E20 it's only recommended to use 2000mAh and below. Some customer tried above 2000mAh and ended up the LED circuit board blow, they knew about the 2000mAh & below but they wanted to give it a try still.  sweat.gif

Glad that u still remember me notworthy.gif

Normal alkaline usually 1000+ mAh, energizer max & eveready are fine.

For rechargeable, Eneloop & certain GP have 2000mAh & below. As far i know is this two brands, others you will have to check on the specs.

TQ

oic..

So far the best is either Eneloop or Sony Recycko. The different of this 2 brand of battery compared with other brands is that these batteries can maintain it's power despite being storage for 1 year example eneloop after 1year it will retain 85% of it's power. Unlike Energizer rechargeable & GP from what i experience after charging it and kept aside for 1-2 weeks the power will deplete or can't even power up your device.

We don't carry Sony brand, however we do sell Eneloop. Kindly please refer to our thread, link: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=11&t=1241331

Hi,

Aiks.... cry.gif

Hope my guess is right..i think it could be the tailcap ring become loose due to the impact. Take a look at the tailcap, on the silver ring there is 2 holes there take a sharp nose plier and try to screw tight the tailcap. If it still does not work let me know.

I already did that bro. Still cannot switch on cry.gif

Hi, yes that is normal. All these powerful flashlight normally after 10mins or so it will get hot, that's why it recommended to switch off the flashlight every 10mins to alow the heat to dissipate. Unless the flashlight produces around 50 lumens then it won't get hot because it consumes lower battery power hence the flashlight circuit won't need to boost out so much power hence lesser heat. Just use it and see, if any problem occurs then PM me.  biggrin.gif

oic.. glad to hear that.

For Fenix E20 is recommended to be 2000mAh and below. As we have feedback for customers that when they use higher than 2000mAh in long term it blows the circuit board of E20, hence to be on the safe side best to use 2000mAh and below only. TQ
