Thank you for your support. In my personal opinion price is not so much the matter but most importantly is the service, for example cartain problems we can identify and rectify it on the spot however if it's electrical head problem it will have to be sent back to the manufacturer. This is strictly applicable to customers whom bought their Fenix flashlights from us. Moreover you can test and compare the flashlights between the brands we carry also our knowledgeable staff to assist you to pick the right flashlight for your application. biggrin.gif

Just doing the best we can for our customers, in turn also for your long-term support otherwise my boss won't be able to pay me salary blush.gif laugh.gif

Nice seller and very close to my campus. rclxms.gif

Not sure you are aware of the clip problem in LD01 R2. The clip was too stiff. It severely scratch the casing of my torchlight.

Now it looks like second hand product.  cry.gif

Other than that it is still a nice gadget for me.
*
Hi, thanks for the compliment. biggrin.gif

In my opinion snap on clips have to be strong in order to hold on to the flashlight body tight otherwise the flashlight will fall off and get lost especially when it's clip to belt, etc. Even my iTP A2 stainless steel i got for my dad also sratch a lot once put or take off the clip cry.gif

The only way to prevent scratches is to make screw on clips, but this may means the flashlight diameter has to be bigger for the screw holes. So there is pro and cons. blush.gif

Bro, this E8GE rechargeable battery can be use with Fenix E20icon_question.gif
*
For Fenix E20 is recommended to be 2000mAh and below. As we have feedback for customers that when they use higher than 2000mAh in long term it blows the circuit board of E20, hence to be on the safe side best to use 2000mAh and below only. TQ

Hi there gadgetworld2u, I've a few questions.

I'm quite a newbie and I have the TK11 (Q5). Is it possible to upgrade it to R2 or even R5? If so how and how much would it cost me?

The other question is, what are the major differences between TK11 (R5) and TK12 (R5) other then the max lumen?

Third question, is the TK15 coming? When?
Ooopss...sorry...just read the title. So, how much is it?

Thanks in advance.
*
Hi,

Fenix TK15 is RM230. I'm sorry it's not possible to upgrade the TK11 Q5 to a newer LED, as the heads are all sealed and can't be opened moreover we not do modding service. smile.gif Unless you buy a whole new head, however the new TK11 R5 head won't be compatible with your TK11 Q5 body as the new head is using a different thread. blush.gif

The major difference between TK11 and TK12 is the modes, TK12 has 4 modes and they are present into 3 categories: category A - turbo & strobe ; category B - low & medium ' category C - turbo and medium. Whereas TK11 only have 2 modes which is turbo and medium.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Since cannot mod my TK11, then I'm coming for the TK15 then.

I think I've *almost* made up my mind on it, but, just want to get your opinion. Is it worth it to upgrade to TK15?

Thanks again.
*
Whether to get the Fenix TK15 or not is subjected to what you intend to use the light for? Are you looking for a light which can go distance or give you the spread beam for close distance. Kindly please repky me via PM. TQ

Hi,

Currently, im looking for a LED flashlight (rechargeable or non-rechargeable will do) to detect scratches & swirl marks on my car's bodywork. My budget is RM 200 (Max). May I know which model would you recommend for my task ? Thanks.  smile.gif
*
Hi,

As i don't...correction pratically never use light to check on car bodywork hence i can't exactly recommened which will be suitable for your task. However i know you will need neutral white light which projects the colouration better. Perhaps you can look at these few models.

Fenix LD25
Fenix TK20

If you can drop by at our shop it will be better, this way you can try the lights out before buying. Shop Map link: http://www.lelong.com.my/merchant/default....how=OurLocation

Would like to ask, does TA21 fit into the Fenix's belt clip ?
Thanks
*
Hi, it only fits the models stated in the below pic. However it actually can fit in TA21 (better if you take off the cigarette ring) in the into strechable compartment however you can't use the velcro to secure hold it, hence it depends whether you are alright with it or not. smile.gif

Can you ask your supplier about the it later on? Want to make sure  sweat.gif
*
They don't do testing with magnets so can't give you a confirm answer either. As far as i know magnet from hard disk is super strong it can even effect your wifi or television signals..so who knows long-term what it will do to the circuit board. This is better you ask the magnet expert, Fenix is flashlight expert not magnet expert which is totally not in their scope...

Hi,

Yes TK50 is in stock, price is RM250 inclusive free shippig wtihin Malaysia. As for MP10...erm i think you have typo error there is no MP10, please double check. smile.gif

QUOTE(KrisMas @ Jan 21 2011, 11:47 AM)
Now this would be my turf....

I have the TK11 (Q5) before this and it worked wonders for spotting swirls, scratches, marring, blemishes, etc. But I had a little problem with holograms. Then I took the plunge and got myself the PD31 and, so far, it's been working great and if it passes the PD31 then 95% of the time it'll pass the direct sun test. I'd recommend it and, checking at the price, it's just RM5 over your budget. Just remember/note that the pricing doesn't include cells/chargers/etc. If that doesn't suit you, just look for something with at least 250lumens or above with strong/sharp hotspot and wide spills.

Regards and sorry for the OT.
