Use guitar backing tracks. Here's a list of sites where I get mine from:
http://guitarbt.com/ http://www.guitarchaos.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12 http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/ These are mp3's so you can use a recording software (I use Reaper) and just add the backing track as a layer, and add your own recording on other layers. Or, you can just put em in Winamp and jam along. But the best is playing with other ppl |

if you listen carefully, most of the back track are done using guitar pro(or similar software). it's on different format, but still the same sound.

I always use propellerhead " Reason " for bass and drums.. i think it would be easier especially if composing ur own songs.. besides, we could always control the tempo.. eheh.. |
