Activision announced a sequel to the Marvel Ultimate Alliance today naming it Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion.
As the name itself sounds, players can get to mix or fuse different powers together to create their own super powers.

I hope this 1 where you can bring your own save game to multiplayer. If can't then no point.

After being teased by probably the world's shortest trailer ever, a new long enough trailer was shown at Comic-Con. Kind enough of them.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion [Comic-Con 08 Trailer]

From the trailer, seems like nothing much is new compared to the old one. Graphics look exactly the same.
Other than "maybe" new characters and the newly added fusion feature, this game only attracts those who have been fans of the prequel.

Cant believe the last post was more that a year ago...
Anyway here is the game's launch trailer. Looks good.

By the way, this game is published by Activi$ion, so dont expect a cheap price tag for this game.
As much as i want to play it, there is as much reason i want to boycott against Activi$ion.

PA retailing the game at a hefty price of RM211.19.

Spend wisely people smile.gif

Hey! Definitely not writing this off, seriously.
I mean come on, just look at Kingdom Hearts and you know Mickey and friends can kick some ass.
So Marvel and Disney, things can get interesting here yo.

If they do it right then it might be interesting.

But then again, I still can't imagine how Marvel & Disney characters in action together will look like. There's potential for disaster!

or maybe just disney family quarrel.... Mickey vs Winnie, Belle vs Beast, fight among the 7 dwarves for Snow White ???

Btw, heard some negative comments from IGN and Gamefaqs message boards, including using cheat codes will make you unable to save and have to reload all over again ? Plus, you cannot bring your stats of existing game to new game, unless you bringing it to Legendary mode...

sigh, played near the end and it is really a big disappointment...

- the fusions are repetitive
- poor line of heroes, even though some are essential like Luke Cage, but I gladly swap him for Spider-woman or Cable...
- poor voice acting, if compared to MUA1... Spidey does not sound as 'wisecracked' as in MUA1, Thor's 'holy' voice acting is way wrong, and there is no voice-acting when you select an option during a conversation
- the pro/reg only matters for 2 Acts, so it does not matter much aside from the heroic deeds
- the throw function...disappointment, no more special throws like MUA1
- the cinematics are lousy, especially in briefing... loved the MUA1 mission briefing...
- lots of the powers are useless or does not help much in battle...
- lack of costumes
- only 3 boosts allowed, that's too little...

Urgh, hopefully the DLC is worth waiting for or they come out something like MUA2: Gold Edition, like they did in the past...
