I was in a foreign country for roughly 3 years, i paid close to 4 ringgit per litre for petrol
Thats the real selling price of petrol

The are reasons why we cannot accept the fact that the fuel price is that high, i blame the government actually

1. We have been spoon fed all these years
2. They continue to spoon fed us more
3. When they cant spoon fed us, they pulled the plug abruptly, might as well do a smoother transition
4. Earning per capita is not up to standard yet
5. Failed at attracting FDI due to their arrogance
6. Failed to manage Petronas revenue to cushion the effect of fuel price
7. Failed to educate the rakyat = lower salary bracket and not a hot item in world job market
8. Failed to increase our education quality infact its getting worst and hence most of them even tho educated = uneducated
Next big thing would be property price, be it buying or renting
The foreing country i was in, rental cost close to 6k per month with 3 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 bathroom, 1 aircond and partially furnished
Its not even a bungallow or a semi D, like a town house oni

Malaysia relies heavily on tax, most of their high runners were tax from alchohol, tobaco, vehicles and luxury goods

We have plenty of natural resources and human resources, but it wasnt put to good use, take Taiwan for example these guys have got limited land but is one of the pioneer/leader in agriculture
We have plenty of land but most of them filled with lalang
We have plenty of human resources but most of them rather laze around or resort to stealing

I dont see encouragement, i dont see plans to tap that resources, by our governemnt
Instead i'm seeing, bocor, skirt too pendek, go space play yoyo, build launchpad

Edit: I was in Bangkok last month or so, was speaking to this Thai fella, the king himself has got his own R&D for agriculture, whatever technology they invented like the water wheel, new padi type were all given to their citizens free of charge

That i have to agree public transport sark and worst is the security level

Oh dont be surprised it can cost u RM1k for a taxi ride
And their public transport arent exactly cheap either, but of coz much better than us and that is because the governement can charge higher due to their higher earning per capita

U know what they say about east malaysia and west malaysia? No offense to west malaysia, but if the sabah sarawak or perhaps brunei form together as a country, west will be nothing. If you heard what the eastern malaysia is complaining how west suck out our resources money out, trust me every people in the corner of street is saying the same thing about the government in west malaysia.

Such a shock, we are a rich country if delegation of responsibility is being done properly and of course systematically. Politics is just like the double edge sword but unfortunately our government wield it the wrong way. Too bad, we blame races for any incompetence act that they've done.

I not so sure actually how sarawakian bumis are doing here, but if Sabah, the strongest bumi must be the kadazan. They really work hard just for the living and they really stand out among other bumis. But just like you say, we're a rich state, but eventually our money should be given to the central to delegate the resources to each state. I seriously believe Sarawak is the richest with their natural gas and petroleum.
