currently there is this spring echo thingy when i dry fire my gun... like... "BLAM--MMMMOOOOIIINNNNGGGGGGIEEGGGIEEE"  blink.gif
This is apparently normal with newer longshots (black plastic internals rather than the old orange internals), according to nerhaven forums.

EDIT: The broken plastic is obviously not normal in case someone was going to bring that up.

another problem i have with my LongShot  rclxub.gif
a few weeks back , broken bits of plastics dropped out from the gun through the barrel when i was cocking the LS.. (pointing it downwards of course)
i did not care as there isn't any problems shooting the gun. whistling.gif  until last saturday... i got bored and so i opened up my LongShot~ i found out that one of the 2 little screws holding the Spring with the Plunger (i think) was broken.. the plastic stuff broke but the screw was still there... there still aren't any problems shooting the gun (yet) but i am afraid that one day it will break  sad.gif  so i'm hoping to get some advises~

Should i Hot Glue it? Super Glue it? Tie with rubber band?  tongue.gif or just leave it alone??
Do reply and thanks if you guys do...

YUP YUP! GOOD QUESTION!
all the O-rings i have hunted for in my area are thick ones..
and those which are not thick are sized smaller than my butthole  tongue.gif
where do u get them??
*
i had a crack at the same place (curse my mighty strength laugh.gif ). i just superglued it back. it didn't break though.

the echoing? damn i hate those. i always ensure my guns don't have those. perhaps, i'll post some tips later. in your case i think it's because of the broken plastic though(since nothing is holding the spring) .

well using a plier requires force. plastic + force = not a good thing. i honestly think that drilling is the safest bet. provided you can control the drill of course sweat.gif .

hm ya hor~~ got a point there...
somebody from nerfhaven in a normal longshot mod thread said he recommend cutters than drilling blink.gif
i got my yellow this afternoon rclxms.gif opened it up and daze at it from half an hour...

and then....

put it back in sweat.gif
dunno wat to do with it...
comparing my last LS mod and the thread i saw rclxub.gif
hmm... and dunno want spray the damn thing or not rclxub.gif

btw.. i think the blue LS aren't stocking anymore~~
and the yellow LS's ori paint job isnt tidy shakehead.gif
the stock has one N-strike logo coloured and the other not shakehead.gif
and there is only one nerf word painted black throughout the whole gun shakehead.gif
dunno wth they doin vmad.gif
