@peyot,
I doubt that is going to be possible since U oredi been blacklisted. Also, since Ur clearing off ur debt on a month to month basis, it shouldn't take too long before Ur done with what U owe to the bank. After which, U just need to wait a couple of months (up to 12 months) before the banks will look into ur record again Y would U need a home loan/CC facilities/ car loan from the bank? Even if U do decide to buy something now; U might not have sufficient funds to pay for it. |

What is black list?
Why is there still resides a myth of black list? The bank just doesn't lend out based on one's credit conduct. Similar as human behaviour. So would any sane person lend to someone which he/she knows doesn't pay?! Always ask yourself this....would you even lend to yourself based on unbiased perception. Take for example, I owe the bank RM13k and had trouble paying that RM13k, so I come to you. You knew that I had trouble paying that RM13k, would you lend me money?!... |

I think u can try these:
1) Search BNM site, i came across some credit rehabilitation unit to help those in financial trouble. 2) Borrow RM1000 each from 13 relatives and friends. 3) Cut down spending 4) Most effective way is to increase your income by doing second job or do part time business. |

@peyot,
If U can't find the $ to pay off this RM13k, where are U going to find the $ to buy a house? Y don't U pay up this debt and then only look into getting a property. RM13k over 4 years is quite a long time if U asked me. Instead of getting into more debts, I suggest U clear this one first. Ask urself (even if the bank allows U the home loan): 1) Do U haf sufficient cash for downpayment of property? 2) Do U haf sufficient income to sustain monthly repayment for: - home loan - existing loan (RM13k) 3) Haf U also thought about when interest rates increase? That will affect ur monthly loan payment; assuming you're on a flexi loan. Do U really want to get urself into a deeper mess than U oredi are? QUOTE(peyot @ Jul 15 2008, 09:42 AM) [COLOR=blue] first of all let me tell you that since you have reschedule your loan with the Bank you are not blacklisted..probably your name appear under the CCRIS as "doubtful paymaster". as such, the other Banks are not approving your housing loan..Your name will never appear in CTOS (which black list people) unless civil action (writs of summons) have been initiated against you. Did the particular Bank you are owing commence this? if not than you are clear...as for the second part..I agree with some of our friends here that you should get some assistance from either your family or close friends to help you out on this...or maybe use your coming bonus to settle you debt with the Bank..It is goina be impossible for you to get another loan from a bank to clear your current loan..for the Bank its " GOOD MONEY CHASING BAD MONEY"..since they know u r a bad pay master.. |

QUOTE(peyot @ Jul 15 2008, 10:44 AM) thnaks for yur advise.. You need to do some homeworks on your own like :-currently my income is good enough..i just cannot wait another few years to clean my name.. Go to BNM to get a copy of your own CRRIS's report. Like BOON said , there is no such thing called a Blacklist. However, your banker might include a comment to say that you were a "hardcore" * borrower. Normally , banks would avoid you if there is one. I think, going to BNM is your first step you have to take. CRRIS report would tell your paying patterns for the last 12 months. If you continue to improve your paying pattern, there is a good chance to get a housing loan in the future. Wishing you all the best. * forgotten the exact wordings. @peyot
The problem is are you able to service the installment amount (if loan is approved) + your RM13k debt split into monthly installment + credit card debt + your monthly expenses. That's how the bank looks at your financial status. They calculate debt burden ratio and the rule of thumb is all your expenses that is with the banks cannot exceed 1/3 of your salary. So if it exceeds, meaning to say you can't even afford a "house" yet! Than again if you're that desperate, the 2nd way to go about this is to get a joint loan. Than you have to provide proves to the bank that you're servicing the RM31k with monthly repayment i.e. paying consistently monthly without miss. |

By replying like that, I can tell you are kinda intelectually challenged. Taking a loan to cover another loan just caused you 'think' that your income is good now? Like one of the forummer said, if your income is really that good, you can settle your 13k loan in one year. NOBODY ASKED YOU TO SETTLE ONE SHOT. But no, you need to spread it to FOUR years. So wake up dude, your pay is not sufficient to warrant another loan. If you feel like digging a grave by all means do.Added on July 15, 2008, 11:44 pm halo......where can get one shot pay 13k...if can...i don't need your help or advise la.......do u understand? @peyot,
Of course I understand - perhaps Ur the one who doesn't! And our lives still goes on whether or not U take the loan; we're just concern about U raking up more loans in the process of settling this one. If ur hoping to get unlisted just so U can secure a home loan, U better think it through to make sure U haf sufficient cash flow to service all ur loans. Do U oredi haf some cash put aside for emergency purposes? What if U lost ur job? How many months reserve (in cash) have U got? |

QUOTE(b00n @ Jul 16 2008, 06:51 PM) If you're salary is high maybe yes. To reiterate, 1/3 of your salary is used for your loan application because its assumed that you will have loans with other banks. Otherwise its 3/4 outright. If your CCRIS score is satisfactory, the risk levels you are in whether you are approved or rejected is solely determined by your length of employment in one company. For example a 5k a month applicant will be considered high risk and may be rejected if he changed job every year vs a 2k a month applicant if he has been in the same company for 2 years or more. Take this calculation: RM5,000 salary - RM1,250 left over (25%) RM2,000 salary - RM500 left over (25%) So would you lend to a person with a salary of RM2,000 knowing that after repaying his loan he is left with 25% of his salary i.e. RM500 to survive? RM500 to be used for his daily expenses? And, to calculate in this manner is wrong. You have forgotten one major thing. Taxes. In other words, whether you are a RM2k/mth, RM5k/mth, or even up RM40k/mth, it will all ends up the same unless you evade tax but that means you can forget about getting big loans. |

QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE(tzeyin @ Jul 15 2008, 11:57 PM) TS, there is no free lunch in this world, no one would give u a low % loan except ur relative / family members, think. if ur income is ok now, u will know wat to do to clear the 13K debt. Hey U!! If you cannot help...just shut up!!!!!!! RM13K? i do owe a bank 16K before due to CC, guess what, 1 day collector call me up make a offer to me, installment and full payment, i choose Fullment 1 shot, because it reduce from 16K to 8K, and finally i settle my loan, I can sleep everynight without worrying loan etc worry about future home loan, and ofcos i spent money like water when i was young, that is what i pay for today. and lastly I'll never blame any1, all my fault. seriously 13K is not much, if your salary is so high which u mention before, i dont see any problem settle ur existing 13k deb.. QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jul 15 2008, 10:43 AM) @peyot, im totally agree with her..btw, since u have extra money y x u settle ur debts..regularise ur payments..then better chance 4 ur loan 2 b approvedIf U can't find the $ to pay off this RM13k, where are U going to find the $ to buy a house? Y don't U pay up this debt and then only look into getting a property. RM13k over 4 years is quite a long time if U asked me. Instead of getting into more debts, I suggest U clear this one first. Ask urself (even if the bank allows U the home loan): 1) Do U haf sufficient cash for downpayment of property? 2) Do U haf sufficient income to sustain monthly repayment for: - home loan - existing loan (RM13k) 3) Haf U also thought about when interest rates increase? That will affect ur monthly loan payment; assuming you're on a flexi loan. Do U really want to get urself into a deeper mess than U oredi are? |

doesn't care how much now you paying back to the bank each month, once you have any outstanding payment yet settle it with your bank, your CCRIS report with show. and there is nothing call blacklist, it's just a CCRIS report that every loan officer will look into it before proceed ur loan request. |

Once u've blacklisted by Bank Negara, eventhough u settle ur loan and no more owing banks, ur name wont be clear so fast.It is still under blacklisted list.
