this will be the same case like rockband. Asia version ppl wait 2 years for it. Now, don't even have rockband 2 yet for asia xbox.

so, i think on avg, xbox user will have to wait 3 years before u get the asia version of FFX3.

another option is to jtag ur xbox lah so can play region free, but if you play on xbox live one u should have the latest version of xbl which blow your e-fuse so your cpu can't be programmed to run "freesourcecode software" already.

be like me lah, buy both consoles, can play any exclusives u want all the time. Expensive, yes but no regrets.

this game not so worthy la to hack the region code...
better buy ps3 if u want 2 play ff13...

actually for long long time already i already told everyone that ffx13 will NEVER be exclusive to sony only but ppl keep laughing in my face, now i laugh at them back.

why?its simple maths. If you are a die hard ff like me, u probably know the sales of each ff series also. The average sales of each ff per unit to per platform over the years on avg is around 7 million unit. the less popular ones like ff tactics got about 5 million unit. You see, avg user of ps3 is roughly around 10 million when they announced FF13, in order to reach 7 million unit sales, which is roughly the same amount of popularity like the FF6 FF7 series they will have to go to other platforms also. Because 7 million out of 10 million user is you need 70% of the ps3 market alone. SE is very smart, the company smart ppl know it, if not they will not be in the industry for that long. That is why, they have to port it to xbox360 to reach that kind of sales. No suprise, this is real world, REAL FANTASY TACTICS.If you are a FF fantasy and u threaten SE to not play the game if it goes to xbox360 but how many die hard fans will actually resist that kind of temptation?

I won't blame xbox360 sales is over ps3 because in all, it is a good thing to SE and i certainly dont want SE to go bankrupt coz they make really kick ass RPG games.

I feel like a noob here.. but here goes...

how do I know whether my console is US or EU or ASIAN or whatever...? This region lock thing confuses me...

i suspect the deal with microsoft was ff13 would be available in US and EU first only for the 360. Sony would have a time exclusive in Japan (and Asia). just my speculation.
