My father bought this iswara with opt no car audio sometimes liao. So recently I had installed a jvc player and ciplak 4' speaker. Speaker was put at original both side. But the sounds really bad. Although I am not really into ICE but the speaker just can't difference the sound well. So I intend to buy a better speaker and put it in. The ciplak maybe I will put at the front door.
Need advice, the whole process is DIY.
Another thing is the antena, I also bought a ciplak type. The reception is not so good. Although is very clear but can hear slight slight distortion sound. Some area are lound some ok. I drive along PJ and Kelana.

1) How much is the rear board for iswara?
2) HOw to fix it at the back, i know how to remove the original one.
3) How to fix the front speaker at the door?
4) Antena issue, how to improve the reception?

If can provide pictures I will be very happy.
If anyone can provide service also ok, I can pay but reseanable lar.

I'd presume that you have recently installed a JVC CD player for the situation you're in & want to improve the sound further;

1) & 2) you can go to 'Brothers' to check out the price for the rear board as their pricing for this type of items are very competitive. Installing it is quite easy if you're the DIY type of person. If not you can get some tips from the installer there or install it there at a nominal fee.

3) If you're buying & installing a set of speakers for the front door, than I suggest you get a set of passive component 6" type 'small-magnet' as you're not running any external amplifiers. Like I've said earlier installing it is not difficult if you're a DIY guy, but you may get tips from 'Brothers' shop or installing it there for a fee.

4) usually antenna issue are the connection socket & points which is not in order or loose. Check these 1st before wasting $$ on replacements. If you're replacing yourself pls be careful as you need to tie a strong flexible wire to the old item's wires while removing & also use this same wire to pull it back into place.

The reason I'm recommending you to 'Brothers' is because of your tight budget & the items you intend to buy are quite competitively priced there.

Thanks. I check the board price selling there is RM48.00.
Actually the workmanship you see there do really pening, very rought I would say.
I am thinking put my ciplak 4' at door. Then buy another 6' at rear board. Some speakers selling with tweeter together, it is neccessary? Sine the front i had put the speaker.

Bro:

I suggest if u want to change the board, go for better ones. Around RM80-100 selling in ENEOS

Take the hard wood type rather than the original plywood ones.
Then u can install a set of 6x9 on it without being worried that the heavy magnets will distort the board.

(mine was mounted on the original soft board and now the board is spoilt)

And don't install 4" on door panels..at most u can install it underneath ur dash board.
For doors standard is 5.25.

I suggest u just keep the 4" in place on both sides at the rear end, and add an additional 6.5 or 6x9 on the rear panel board.
For front its up to your preference if u want a 5.25 or 6.5 speaker or full component set.

BTW, iswara is a DIY car..everything can DIY! biggrin.gif
dont waste money asking ppl to do it for u..its just simple cash for them if so..
