I got my self the Canon 400D last 2 weeks and i went to the International Beauty Expo to take some model shot..

Too bad serious OOF... But funny... it is neither focus on the background nor the subjects...

Did you turn on one shot or servo? Must use servo to track track le.... tongue.gif

that is the IS lens.... maybe i still cannot hold steady la.....i haven't get my self a flash yet... and i didnt use the internal flash...

yup... i was standing at the left site of the stage that time... after that when the makeup show start, i was sitting at the right site.....

Must use Servo la... Force the camera to continuous autofocus...

The AI is trying to be smart on choosing the one shot and continuous... And usually end up stupid decision... Since we already know must need continous... why still need to use AI?

Same thing if you already has the EF85 f1.8 USM... It should always use AV for wide open... best result... Why still need to dial to potrait mode for the camera to design bigger aperture? Since we already know we need wide open...

I felt if u want to improve, consider get urself an external flashgun. I bet ur pics will looked fantastic with better lighting from ur flash.

Ur pics will looked better if the model/subject is within the middle/center of ur pic and she looking at u.

Bcoz the internal flash is nt good lo,n it use alot of the battery.
