I was rejected for my HSBC CC application. Same goes to my friends. They applied together with other friends, out of 5 persons applied, only 1 accepted, others rejected. But, all of us have same salary and work in the same company~

Just now went Maybank Treats Fair, applied for MBB Petronas and MBB Amex~ For Petronas CC, already approved and got the temporary CC while they are processing for the original card. For Amex, they said around 2 weeks.
