@kayage, You're absolutely right about us taking responsibility to our own Finances but there are just too many people out there who doesn't and can't control their 'habits'. Too bad lots of people don't bother listening and will only start regretting after huge amounts of debts been piled up *gulp*
I hope there's something we can do to educate people out there on the consequences of spending tomorrow's morning today but alas, this isn't fantasy-land.

QUOTE(Scopio @ Aug 21 2008, 03:38 PM) oic.. so either i choose public bank n cimb lor.. Before you apply any credit card, please check if your income can support one (no point forcefully getting one if you can't qualify for one). And most importantly, would you be piling up debts when you get the card or do you just need it to make it more convenient (don't have to carry so much cash around). @Scopio, It is not necessary for U to apply for a CC with banks U haf accounts with.
@jeff_ckf, CC is as convenient as ATM ! *grins* but for the sake of the young generation, I hope they don't think the way I do ! *grins*

You can get an ATM from the bank called "Boyfriend" or "Husband" Although it may get dry, at least you have another ATM to use Btw, don't bother trying to poison my mind hahaha

norns, If you get your car loan under your name and without guarantor. Then you can request for pre-approved card from the bank. Tinkerbel & Terapox, Just now went to ask for Amex Plat Credit Card, the officer say i need to pay for the annual fee of RM 800 ? not even a year fee waived ah? How's your case? Annual fee already charged in your account?

norns, If your dad happen to be your guarantor then i don't think you'd be offered a pre approved card. Pre Approved card usually takes only 1 week time to get it, depends on bank efficiency. Maybe you can get details at the branch you get your loan. Pre Approved card is usually issued from the bank where you have your home loan or hire purchase agreement. Some bank will automatically send the card to you, as my case i get from MBB and PBB free card as long as my loan in bank (5 yrs).
