QUOTE(Soulsareworthless @ Jul 15 2009, 03:05 AM) I just signed up for a Jupiter trading account. How do I find out who my broker is? I didn't get any e-mail about that. Usually when they send e-mail to inform you that the account is activated, they will let you know who your remisier is.by the way, is your account activated already ? |

Just wondering, can the Jupiter platform be used using a BlackBerry ?
It is much better if can, then can trade using Blackberry. Now it is hard, because office is blocking access to Internet. |

Just wondering,
Does the Jupiter platform allows to have all the orders matched before considering it as a sale? What I hate most about the Malaysian investor is the 1 batang attitude. They would purposely put order of 1 lot, to try to push the order lower, or higher, depending on the intent. 1 batang below the last buy : to try to push the seller to lower the Q 1 batang over the last buy: So that as at closing, the stock appears to have risen in value (even though the actual match is only 1) So question is, can I place a buy order at, say 100, and only if it matches fully, only then the sale is considered? Any thing lower, than it would mean the sale is not yet done. Is it possible ? |

Many thanks for the reply Sir,
much appreciated. Please confirm if my understanding is correct: Trust Account = x Available Trading Limit = x + y Sales Proceeds due (due today) = y Is this understanding correct? So basically, tomorrow my statement would be : Trust Account = x + y Available Trading Limit = x + y Sales Proceeds due = n/a |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Sep 28 2014, 05:37 PM) Yes, based on actual balance. But it should be calculated on daily rest basis, not on month-end balance. Thanks for the prompt reply.Mind if I confirm on the below calculations ? Say, I have 1k in the Trust Account, and I have not made buy/sell for this month. i.e the 1k is balance brought forward from last month. So, the calculation is 1k x 1.8% = RM18. Correct ? Alright, if my account is zilch, aka zero. And I added in my Trust Account at 25th for 1k. How would the calculation for the month be ? Is it; [1] 1k x 1.8% = RM18, or [2] 1k x 1.8% x 6/30, as the money is in the trust account for six days only ? |

![]() ^ What are the charges for these types of transactions for Jupiter ? I am using the cash-basis (i.e. can only utilize the amount available in the Trust Account). |
