but dying already,so have to change....the gfx card fan now very noisy.....i don't know the market price now coz long time no follow already....can let me know around how much??have to see ngam my board or not also...i lousy in this kind of things...

ur current system use pcie rite? 9600gt is around 570, but nvidia price will come down soon(cause of AMD's new cards, really kick nvidia's ass and damn cheap), after tis month i think...if 570 is too much, can go for 9600gso around 450

your p4 3.0 ht is good enough for those cards

haha PCI Express is the current connection slot for graphic cards, how old is ur system? do u know ur current chipset? p4 3.0 ht should be using pcie
anyway, u sure wan rm300? dnt do gaming? next couple of yrs u'll wan2 change card de...i recommend 9600gt/gso cause its worth the money! 3850 n 8500gt is just...too weak

if go for rendering, get more ram. if ur low in budget, u can upgrade cpu, mb n ram 1st. under 1k u can get modest setup, u can get good 1 under 1.5k. 2~4gb ram will make sure ur system do well in some rendering software like 3dstudio max
