I believe there's an update for European region. Not sure about Malaysia though. Tried to update the phone, but got the same result as muman7 did.

Never happened on my brother's Innov8. But the bluetooth on his Innov8 doesn't seem to be working well. It can transfer files to others but it's having a hard time to accept files from others.

I guess making sure the sms goes into the phone memory could be the fix. There has always been problems when people save their messages on their memory card.

Have you tried using the +GPS app to download the GPS data first?

It's not really that much of a difference, but there are some software that's only compatible with Nokia S60 phones but not Samsung S60 phones such as Nokia Maps, N-Gage and all that stuff. Even Garmin didn't have official support for the i8510 at first.
