I believe there's an update for European region. Not sure about Malaysia though. Tried to update the phone, but got the same result as muman7 did.

Never happened on my brother's Innov8. But the bluetooth on his Innov8 doesn't seem to be working well. It can transfer files to others but it's having a hard time to accept files from others.

I guess making sure the sms goes into the phone memory could be the fix. There has always been problems when people save their messages on their memory card.
