What's the current price for the 8gb model? Any idea if the prices will be going down anytime soon....maybe for CNY?

Thanks for reply. I tried the phone out at Samsung store in Gardens..pretty good. But the price there and a few outlets is RM 2899 for 8GB model.

The sales guy there recommended to check out low yat for cheaper prices (~2.5-2.6k). Going tmrw to scout.

Got the phone today. RM 2.5k after nego.

8gb internal + 8 gb card...extras apart from the standard set is just the screen protector and navsoft gps software and map of malaysia..gps works fine.

so far everything has been smooth, wifi and camera working alright. firmware is still the first version..but unable to update it so far..it says unable to connect to server or something. not so bothered about that at the moment.

Hi, which map program are you guys using? Any recommendations..

My unit came with navfone by agis, not too impressed with the maps or software.

I'm tempted to try out garmin but read in a few forums that it drains battery life within less than a day because the program does not turn off GPS after exit. Have to manually use task manager to kill it everytime.

at LYat, 8gb internal + 8 gb card is going for RM 2500+. One of the shops do offer only the 8gb model without the card roughly @ RM 2350 I think. Can't remember exact price.
