.... will I lose my sms, photos, data stored in the iPhone?
Need confirmation before I remove.

if not mistaken everything in iphone is stored in the phone itself not the sim

yepz it is true... all data stored in the iPhone itself, your SIM card just enable you recieve/send/make call+sms

however on the lighter note, if you wanna transfer your iphone contacts to the SIM, you will need another phone (for example nokia, which has a software capability with outlook etc.)

transfer contacts from iPhone to SIM and vice versa can be done by using 3rd party iPhone application, simPort ka, i dunno but there is a lot 3rd party app that do that which i didnt use smile.gif

i just transfer my contacts to windows Adress Book using iTunes (sync method)

simport only let you copy from sim to phone and not vice versa. iSim let you do that but its a shareware.

Tumpang thread. I ve just formatted my comp, so address book is now empty. If I sync contacts from iphone, all contact in iphone will be erased, am I right?

Any other ways to copy back my contacts back to PC? Thanks.

i think not... cuz last time when i get my iPhone for the 1st time, i just sync2 play2 with iTunes, haha... then all my contact go to Adress Book which is empty before and from that time i start using the Address Book smile.gif

Dude, common sense, even if you remove the simcard in normal phones also won't lose all photos, songs etc. Only ur contact number will be gone
