Go to iProperty can search for 'New Property' then sort it by newness at the top. Do this for KL and Selangor. Then think about those who just entered the workforce or middle income group.

I have also been monitoring 3 condos I am keen to purchase to stay. Sadly the prices have been climbing steadily over the past 3mths or so. I did check with 2 friends in the Banking industry and it seems I have to fork out a whopping 23% on the downpayment based on their valuation as compared to the selling price.

Since I am in no hurry... I shall wait and see how things pan out by next year or 2013.

LOL... yeah gotta learn his multi-tasking ability but there are some good points to learn from his interview taken with a pinch of salt nonetheless.

6k household can afford to buy 500k property? (kai wan xiao) rclxub.gif , unless 8k and above lah.

Even at 10k Household income I think it's comfortable purchasing brand new 500k property (no children yet of cos) but not subsale properties. With the difference in bank evaluation, S&P and etc costs... it's crazy amount of cash to fork out right at the start.
