VLC use ffmpeg too, the opensource "ffmpeg rmvb decoder" already exist but its still experimental, its working, just no deblocking filter iirc. WMA professional/VC-1/DTS encoder/MLP/TrueHD/blabla, playback those proprietary codecs is possible with any player that use FFmpeg. but there are same, still experimental  you can test them if you know how to patch them to FFmpeg and compile FFmpeg to binary  |
