Only Maybank a bit weird.... you are not alone in this... even if your CCRIS already clear... Maybank will still reject your cc application...
And yes... banks can't reveal the reason... dunno why but my friend working at Bank confirm this... they are not able to tell you the reason...

Try appeal to Maybank or submit application again after 6 mths... maybe your ptptn info not updated ... I dont know...

i only have a car loan now...annual income for sure pass the requirement..sometimes really dont understand the bank's criteria on approving applications..

i even provide them with the PTPTN letter.

If I may ask... how does the scoring differs between RAM and CTOS? End of the day it is up to financial institution if they wanna refer to RAM or CTOS right?

QUOTE(lifebalance @ Oct 11 2016, 08:23 PM)
RAM only RM10 with scoring

Rm5xxx is base pay .... or including commission and allowances? Sometimes bank only refer to base pay...

QUOTE(nookie7 @ Oct 18 2016, 10:58 AM)
I'm pretty sure my income is high enough as my car loan is only RM973 per month and i dont have any commitments.
my income is easiyly RM5*** ++ a month..

Tried applied Maybank which my car loan is also rejected.

my CCRIS payment record now is "0" every month and PTPTN has been cleared from the records.

Goodness... you have such a high net pay so what happen to you la... usually should be damn easy to get a credit card with your pay... just go ahead and try to apply... if don't work.... then wait 6 months... i heard refresh every 6 months I think ...

Hi All,

Please comment on my situation below:

I have zero credit card or loans under my own name.. only supplementary credit card which all the amount paid in full every month.

As at mid of 2016, I have a trade reference by P1 and a lawsuit from a bank due to hire purchase auction (since year 2010).

Paid off the P1 and they sent me sms that my name has been taken off the trade referene.

As for the lawsuit from bank on hire purchase, I have nego with the banks and paying on monthly basis for the last 1 year ++ and in Nov 2016 i even got the monthly repayment arrangement agreement with the bank so that i am consistently paying them. So far no issue on the payment on monthly.

Early Feb 2017 when i viewed the CTOS rating, i am still at the border line RED zone. Maybe it is due to the bank suit which still appearing in the CTOS.

Question: I have sent in application of Credit card with one of the bank which my salary is in it (net pay 9K++) together with the bank agreement and P1 is off the list.

What do you think would be my chances to get that credit card approved? I just want to apply it just to see whether my record is still good to go or still at the drain sad.gif

No impact if pay within the grace period...
QUOTE(kLvru @ Feb 28 2017, 12:49 PM)
Hi all, just want to ask for credit card payment, if i pay within the grace period would it still affect the CRISS as late payment?

say due date 17th, grace period until 7th of the next month, and payment is paid within 17th to 7th of next month?

Thanks... so is it like a demerit points system the record will consistently show 1 arrear or after sometime can show back the clean record? It will be a big blunder on my part if this affects my credit rating just because forgot to pay and late for 10 days...

QUOTE(Madgeniusfigo @ Apr 10 2017, 02:09 PM)
Dear

1. let akpk?

2. balance transfer and restructure. talk to them
Dear

1. ... wont be blacklisted... your ccris will show an arrear of 1 only ! make sure you continue to pay on time.

Cheers

Do you know the report paid version has any extra information compared to free version? I am thinking if I should buy the paid version at least once a year ...
Thanks!
QUOTE(David83 @ Oct 4 2018, 06:09 PM)
YES
But you got one FREE report every year:

anyone knows how can someone with much much earnings/pay get a LOW CTOS score when there is no missed payment and all credit card/loan paid properly on time.

but the other person with lower earnings, but can get excellent CTOS score?

question...even if there is no missed payment, steady and good income but the CTOS score will gradually drop if a person did not make any credit card or loan application for more than 1 year or 2 years or more, is this statement true?
