I have a Maybank CC. I owe them RM30k. It’s has been cancelled now. 3 months I didn’t pay now they say 3rd party debt collector handling this. I told them that I can only pay monthly RM2k and subsequently higher. They say cannot must settle at 70%. And they threatened me with judgement order sale. Can they file for bankruptcy? as I know the amount must RM100k above to file for bankruptcy. Do I continue to negotiate with the bank ?
