Hi all,

Recently i got a few call from a debt collector claimed that i owe hong leong credit card total rm36.8k (include interest). funny part is from the first call from them, they said i owe rm27k and after 1-2 weeks on 12th of may they said my total amount is 36.8k (10k different!!) and offer if i do full settlement it would be rm25k.

Frankly i defaulted it for very long time..i didnt make a single payment to it since apr/may 2009. and i went to bank negara and check my ccris, it was clean. and i check on my insolvency, i m not bankrupt either.

so my question is, can they file bankruptcy on me? Please advise.
