that means not 100% can reschedule? i need at least two year to settle the loan.

i have some money in hand making some profit (8%pa) , the total amount not more than 20% of the loan amount. so i am not able to make settlement. wat should i do now? negotiation or wait until 2016 to make settlement?

what is charged-off by the way?
*
u can ask for rescheduling..and i suggest u do..

charged-off means your loan been settled internally by the bank..but u still need to pay if u still thinking on getting loan elsewhere

I wanna ask..

I have a customer who has ctos hit with P1 wimax and previously has personal loan with rhb bank and name inserted in ctos. But fully settled his loan with rhb bank already with release letter.

Whats the chance of his loan approval? Which bank is more lenient in this type if case?

Any bankers can help him? Or shed some lights.

in my case,

i had been received summon from bank 2yrs ago, and received a new summon 3 months ago.
last few weeks i try to register ctos to check my record, i found tat my record was [CLEAN] in ctos.

then i try login to ctos today and found that there is somthing appear in section D, which is my recently summon (3 months ago summon) from bank which bank has told me just ignore the summon since had compromised wif bank.

SO, i was trapped by ctos.!!! i feel that if we trying to register ctos or checking ctos record, they will then purposely take more intention to trace our record.

haha, no choice! was TRAPPED!!!!

life is beautiful, eventhough now is tight in financial problem, but who noes?!! few yrs later i may be a millionaire!!! so, those who hav their bad record in watever ccris or ctos or wat wat wat...... dun be sad!!! life is in our hand, not others. 1 days, if u guy become rich man and hav lot cash in bank, bank wont care bout wat ur ccris or ctos record, they will treat u like super VIP oso. tongue.gif

Hey guys,

Noob question, is it a good idea to register with CTOS just to see your records? Will registering mean CTOS will go and dig up more dirt on you? Like the case above. Heheh, or am I just being paranoid?

Yes it is a good idea to register so you can get your username and passcode, that way you can check your CTOS periodically.

As a mortgage broker I will tell you that the banks will check and report on your CTOS anyway, so you might as well keep yourself updated by registering your CTOS

Maybe they might have included the MRTA/MLTA into the housing loan amount, making it to look higher?

Nope. Ur loan status in CCRIS would appear as T or C.

Hi, I got a question with regards to CCRIS and credit card payment.
My credit card statement date is every 15th.
I am thinking of settling 50% of the credit card every month.
I am prepared to pay interest but I am concerned about CCRIS.
Since I only pay 50%, will I get a CCRIS record?

as long, you pay min. amount stated in your cc statement will be fine. (no CCRIS indicate late payment)

but, if you skip payment or late payment. (CCRIS indicate these)

Commitment as in the original loan amount or the outstanding amount?

There are 4 main things in your CCRIS record that the banks (when you need to apply for a loan) can see and they are:

1. your loan type (housing loan, hirepurchase, CC, etc)
2. Your original loan amount
3. Your outstanding balance
4. Your repayment records (12 months rolling)

If you only pay 50% (or are you referring to 5% instead?) of your credit card every month, then then your outstading balance of the cards will be updated to the CCRIS every month.

However, your repayment schedule will still look nice, as there will not be any late payment recorded as your are sill paying at least 5% every single month.

I meant 50%. Up till now I have been a 'good boy' and pay in full every month. However, due to some new commitments, I think I may have to be a little 'bad boy' and pay slightly less.

Glad to know that I won't get a '1' record on CCRIS.

Noted. Then as you say you will not have a '1' in your CCRIS

But for that month, your CC portion of your CCRIS will show your remaining balance. That is fine

To all sifu. I need some advice here. I did some minor refinancing with one bank. So now they are gonna settle off my hire purchase (ambank) and personal loan (HSBC). They will direct bank-in to ambank and HSBC loan acc number, and these banks will take it as an advance payment right?
So my next step is go the branch. Ask them to settle off both and ask for a release letter is it? And bring that release letter to BNM so that my Ccris report will be cleared ke or how? Sorry kinda new. Pls guide humble me

CCRIS records are kept on rolling 12-mths

So, u need to wait for 12-mths from your last default

But I think if Special Mention, i.e. NPL, AKPK, it will be there until it is cleared

1. If another Bank has credit money for settlement of your HP / Personal Loan, YES, u need to go to Branch to inform them for full settlement. Else, they will consider as Advance Payment

2. For HP, u need to get release Letter and bring you Reg Card to JPJ to cancel out the Financier Name

3. No need to go to BNM

4. CCRIS Report is updated on 15th of every month. So your CCRIS Records will show that u have fully settled your Loan. As per my above post, CCRIS Records are kept for past 12-mths

How much weight does a bank give when going through the records of CCRIS and CTOS when approving a loan, housing or car? Like if CCRIS is clear but has record in CTOS or if CTOS is empty but CCRIS is not too good?

Cheers.
