i was rejected when apply for rhb credit card, then i go to ctos for checking, ctos show that i do not have any case.

then i go to check ccris, ccris only show one item in special attention account. that is a loan i get in a scheme for graduate from government thru agrobank. i think i supposed to start paying in 2010, but then i move house and did not receive any letter.

now wat should i do? go to the bank to “serah diri” and start paying monthly? or settle it when i have the money? i think the interest rate tat time should be 2.75%.

Yes better go and see them. Arrange for a special affordable monthly repayment. At least they can remove you from ccris npl record.

U should go to agrobank n see the officer in charge. Usually any applicant with special attention account, their loan will most probably get rejected

one of my credit card also under restructure in ccriss report...means no bank will every approve any loan or credit card till i clear that card and trow away?

from my experience, in special attention column,its either your loan under legal proceeding or been charged-off. your loan could be at their credit recovery center.

u should discuss if there are any chances for restructuring/rescheduling, or nego settlement.

normally at 6 months in arrears bank would proceed 'notice of demand', meaning they recalled your loan and u need to make full settlement.

that means not 100% can reschedule? i need at least two year to settle the loan.

i have some money in hand making some profit (8%pa) , the total amount not more than 20% of the loan amount. so i am not able to make settlement. wat should i do now? negotiation or wait until 2016 to make settlement?

what is charged-off by the way?

If a loan borrower (ASB LOAN) consistently paying his loan late after due date for subsequently 6 months, CCRIS record will show 1 1 1 1 1 1. would this effect his credit card application even though his current credit card record show 0 0 0 0 0 0 for six month.

As long as you have a loan with any financial institution that does reporting to Bank Negara, your information will be captured and reflected in the CCRIS. And if you are asking about the amount captured in the CCRIS, that amount is always based on the monthly outstanding statement balance in the statement. If you do what you do, the statement will always have zero balance so there shouldnt be any outstanding balance reported in the CCRIS

However, your card account will still be in the CCRIS and will probably look like this for the credit card. Which is good!!!:

0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

Some banks like OCBC will look at the past 6-months record. Subsequent 1 1 1 however makes the credit record looks bad. Without the process going through a loan officer, I would say this looks pretty bad and if this was a mortgage application, the Loan-toValue ratio would be reduced from 90% to 80%.

Dear All Sifus,

I printed my CCRIS report this month and it was cleared without any 2 or 3. Just 0. Can i apply for personal loan right now? Previous month there is a record from HLB but now CCRIS wiped all cause i have settled it already. Need urgent money for medical purposes.

Hello, yes once you have settled the account it is cleared from CCRIS and whatever record you see in your printed CCRIS is the one the banks will see (unless you have or had an account with the bank you will make an application to)

On that note, the banks actually see less information that you do because they get to ONLY see:

1) Your type of loan
2) Your outstanding
3) Your loan limit (original loan amount)
4) Your payment records.

They cant even see the account number!

Anyway, information accurate as per my experience. Tata!

As far as my banks are concerned, they would have no way of knowing you had those loans because they were already cleared.

Unless you had applied to a particular bank, and then they rejected because of your CCRIS record, and then you cleared the payment, and then you reapplied to the same bank, of course they know la hahahaha

I just give them my IC and they check they say cannot, it still appears in CCRIS. THey say need 3 months to clear off. Is this true?

I dont know where that bank is getting the info from. Did you apply to that bank previously? EasyRHB was it?

It's because when I apply mortgage for my clients, as long as the loans are fully settled, and the client checks with BNM for their CCRIS, the bank they applied the mortgages to wont see them either...

Is the loan you just settled from the same bank you are applying for the personal loan?

A loan that has already been settled would not appear in a ccris report unless the bank has not updated this information to Bank Negara. Call the bank where you have settled the loan with and ask them if they hv updated.

Don't know if applicable to you, but kwsp allow withdrawal for certain medical purposes.

check 'last balance updated' date in CCRIS..if your bank didn't update your account status to paid-off/closed then it would still appear in CCRIS..also u can get release letter from your bank stated that your account been fully settled
