Not sure about your mobo but I have tried it b4 using method 2(EZ flash using thumb drive) for Asus Striker II Formula mobo, done succesfully and no problem... and I have tried method number 1 too.. it can't be used for downgrading

Something new for me 2.. b4 this just overwrite the new bios with previous one
