another tough match for Roger...well maybe he needed all the sweats and works to remind him that being the only top 4 player who still playing IS not an absolute advantage...
but again, seeing him playing like that makes us fans really nervous.... |

See what I said about the match not being short?
Now both Soderling and Federer has no argument in the so-called "who is more tired" issue. Who plays better tomorow, simply is the best. That simple. |

Roger Federer gave me another massive heart attack again, but then, I think he has elevated the excitement level in Paris to a level never reached before. So nerve wrecking.
I'm gonna call the final to be a super thrilling 5 setter, anyone up for it? And of course, I do hope RF earns the title after trying for so long |

Its tough to be a Federer fans these days.. He just gives his fans too much heart attack.. If i were any older i would not be able to stand all those shocking things happening in a Federer's match...
But Federer's heart put him in this situation, as in getting him into the final... This is his best chance now.. to win the French Open and also to equal the Sampras' 14 slams record.. I know he can do it... God bless him! |

Physically on this 5 setter, Federer seem fitter than Del Potro.
Anyway, Career Grand Slam have been the biggest driving force for Federer until now. Hopefully in Final, he would find a perfect tactic and game play to destroy Soderling. Soderling is just a beast currently. Based on everything, Soderling is a favourite. But remember, Djokovic, Murray or Tsonga. All of them show some nervous play in their first Grand Slam Final. Hopefully this would be the same for Soderling. This post has been edited by thteong82: Jun 6 2009, 12:22 PM |

damn...
I was very tired last night... and the way Federer play in 3rd set...it really disappointed me man... alot of unnecessary errors... I thought he sure cannot reach win this match...so I went to sleep... but...today I was shock when saw it at the newspaper... he just came back from behind to win the match... hope he just play his best in the final... just don't play like the first few sets he played with Del Potro... |

Lolz. He couldn't control much because almost every Del Potro's first serve was over 210kph, which was extremely hard for him to receive with his one handed backhand.... But at the end i think pressure fell upon Del Potro and he couldn't make his first serve that easily.... so Federer took the advantage. On the sidenote, Federer actually started to serve more first serve as well, like 80% of his serve was first serve in the last set....
So i think Federer won because he himself improved + Del Potro's level dropped abit due to pressure. |
